Chapter 3. VMS Server

Service Mode

If you enable `Service Mode` in the System menu of the configuration, the VMS server runs in service mode.

· In service mode, the VMS server provides only server and recording functions.

· You can still monitor live video and play back recorded video using the viewer application, which runs as a separate process.
